Season 1

The inaugural season will follow similar patterns for everyone who doesn't have a strong background in one of the disciplines.

Assuming you aren't a complete headcase and started with an Iron distance tri I'll assume you're vaguely normal and your season followed (or will follow) this path:

5K and 10K races

A duathlon or two

A few sprint triathlons (pool based)

Possibly one open water sprint distance if you could afford a wetsuit

During this season you've discovered your strengths and weaknesses, what you liked doing and what you didn't.  You know where you need to improve and you have an idea what you want to spend the winter months doing to be better next year.

Remember:  Winter miles, Summer smiles.
