Swim Pyramid Session
This is one of my favourite swim sessions. If you've joined us from the Gym Pyramid Session then you already have an idea of what's going to happen.
You can do this session however you like - if you're working on stroke counts and pacing, if you're wanting to go flat out, or even if you want a gentle recovery session:
Do a warm-up of about 250m if you're going to sprint this session.
Rest for 1 minute to as little as 20 seconds between each length depending on your ability. Try and keep these rests the same length throughout.
4 x 25m - rest after each 25
3 x 50m - rest after each 50
2 x 75m
1 x 100m
2 x 75m
3 x 50m
4 x 25m
It's an easy session to remember and you can push yourself as much as you want.
